We are pleased to announce that Joe Simpson's new novel The Sound of Gravity has been nominated for The Boardman Tasker Prize.

The Prize for 2011 will be awarded to the author of the best literary work, whether fiction, non-fiction, drama or poetry, the central theme of which is concerned with the mountain environment.

The Sound of Gravity is one of 5 books nominated. Joe will be attending the Award presentation and BT shortlist event on November 18th 2011 at the Kendal Mountain Festival.
